Describe the failure precisely
Before changing settings, identify what is failing. Does the VPN app never reach a connected state? Does it connect while every website stops loading? Or does one application fail while everything else works? These are different observations, and support can act on them more effectively than a report that says only the internet is broken.
Write down when the problem began and whether you had just changed networks, updated the app, or restarted the device. Keep the exact visible error if there is one. A small note gives you a baseline and prevents a series of changes from turning into an unrepeatable experiment.
Check basic internet access
If it is safe for your situation to disconnect the VPN briefly, test a non-sensitive public page without it. Do not sign in or send private information during a test that changes your intended protection. If ordinary internet access also fails, focus first on Wi-Fi, mobile data, or a hotspot sign-in requirement.
Try one network change, such as moving from Wi-Fi to mobile data, when that is available and affordable. If the problem occurs on only one network, tell support that result. It is stronger evidence than repeatedly reinstalling the app. Remember that mobile data charges and workplace network rules can affect whether this is an appropriate test.
Review the VPN setup
Android provides VPN controls in Settings, commonly under Network and internet; names vary by manufacturer. Search Settings for VPN if necessary. Check for another active VPN application or an old profile. Avoid removing a work-managed configuration without asking the administrator, because it may be required for company services.
Open Fast Plus VPN again and read any system permission request. If the application provides another available location, try one change and record the result. Do not assume a particular protocol or advanced setting exists in this app simply because a guide for another provider mentions it. Restarting the app or device is a reasonable reversible step after recording the original error.
Stop before destructive fixes
If only one website fails, try another ordinary site before changing system-wide settings. A single destination can have its own outage or access policy. If the issue starts after the screen turns off, note that timing and review the device’s battery settings separately. These clues help narrow the problem without resetting the whole phone.
Do not begin with a factory reset, clearing all application data, or installing a replacement package from an unknown source. Those changes can remove useful evidence or local settings. Send info@fastplusvpn.site your Android version, app version if visible, network type, approximate failure time, and the exact message. Include which reversible checks you tried and their outcomes. Redact your public IP address, account identifiers, and notifications from screenshots unless support explains why a specific detail is necessary. A concise report with one reliable reproduction is more useful than many screenshots of unrelated settings.
If a change resolves the issue, note exactly which change helped. Keep that note with the original error so you can recognize the same problem later without repeating every experiment.
